Soda drinks contain sugar and caramel colors. The caramel is a synthetic dye, which is a bi-product of carcinogen 4-ML. According to tests, 4-ML is present in caramelized soft drinks. Therefore, if you have to take soda, ensure you choose ones without caramel color.
